Witton Albion JFC

Well lesson number 87 of the season – you don’t get it all your own way at footy do you? We came across a very good Macc Lions team that won’t be far off the top of the league by the end of the season. We went a goal down early on but showed real character and fought back bravely with goals from Connor (2 in last 2 games!!), Oliver and Ellis to lead 3 – 1. But even consistently playing our intense and high pressure game Macc Lions showed real quality and scored another 3 goals to beat us by 1. I can’t fault the 14 players for their effort and performance. They followed the plan but sometimes the other teams just scores more goals than you!!! Bring on the next game.
