Witton Albion JFC

Lost 3 - 1 away to Macclesfield Tiger Tigers (Scorer Ellis). We have two players out due to injury (including our goalie) and I asked our boys for a great performance in the last two games and that’s what they gave us in the penultimate game.

We went in at half time a goal up thanks to a great goal from Ellis. They gave 100% against the team that will win that league easily in the end - they should feel very proud. It was marred a little by some poor refereeing decisions when he failed to manage parts of the game robustly enough! That resulted in our Captain being sent off for a crunching tackle on the opposition after they had just taken out Ellis. Special thanks goes to Ben who went in goal and was awesome but they all played like men.
