Divisional Cup v Vale Bears lost 3 - 2

Another good performance against a First Division Team. Even when we went 2 - 0 down in the first half we just kept playing our football it was very encouraging to watch. Debut performance from Luke who played for us on both wings and then down the middle - looked good in every position and I haven’t quite decided where is his best just yet!

In the second half Owen gave us a goal from a set piece even though he was carrying an injury (very brave thanks mate). Sean and Ben played really well together up front and it was their partnership that secured a second for Witton from Ben to make it 2 - 2.

Arguably the much better team in the second half but Vale were given a dubious penalty in the second half with only a few minutes to go - we tried and tried to get the equaliser but it wasn’t to be.

We can hold our heads up high for another good performance right across the park.
