Under 13 - Wolves

Wolves V Middlewich Town

Second game of the season and the length of the grass was definitely not an issue.

The team we’re back to playing a slick passing game with a few players trying to take on too many players at times, which resulted in us loosing possession.

However, this was addressed during the half time talk. The lads all put in a good shift and their fitness levels look very good. It’s great to see the majority of the lads taking personal responsibility for their fitness and practising their ball skills in their own time.

It’s also good to see the boys taking on board everything discussed and practise during our training sessions. It’s really rewarding and satisfying to see when it’s done on the pitch.

It was a great game to watch, the lads played fantastic football and oozed confidence, they were calm and composed when in possession playing some really skill-full football.

Going forward we’ll look at working on possession and playing wide, using the width and length of the whole pitch.

Well done to all and a big well done to Jack Adams for receiving MOTM and scoring his hat trick!

Well done to Birthday boy Nicholas Springs, for his hat trick and Kian Coles.

The standard of goals today were outstanding!!
