Witton Albion JFC

We lost 4 - 2 against Grappenhall Red on Sunday and I am normally very gracious in defeat but I am really at a lost as to what happened in this game and I have spent 36 hours sulking (I'm over it now).

First of all well done to Grappenhall who played really well but our boys had so much of the play and had so many chances we were at a loss as to how we lost this game - but lessons learnt that if you don't take our chances in footy it can come back to haunt you. We went two nil down but recovered our composure with great goals from Ellis and Oliver. However missed chances and two late Grappenhall Goals meant a disappointing Sunday morning.

We'll pick ourselves up at training tomorrow and get ready for the next match.
